Already 1957 he published his first book, ''Afghan literature from ancient times till the appearance of Islam''. 2004 he published his most known book ''History literature of Afghanistan'', in which he reports of the history and the development of his homeland.


In 1958, he defied Afghan government's censorship by publicly praising the role of [[Mahmud Tarzi]] in the country's history.<ref name="Ruttig"/>

Mohammad Haider Zhobal (born in Kabul, Afghanistan, d. 1959) was an Afghan historian[1] and scholar.[2]

Author career

Zhobal was raised in Kabul, Afghanistan.

In 1958, he defied Afghan government's censorship by publicly praising the role of Mahmud Tarzi in the country's history.[2]
