Unbioctium may form a hydroxide [Ubo(OH)<sub>3</sub>], and an oxide [Ubo<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>] like curium.

The element unbioctium would likely have isotopes that have a half life of only a few milliseconds, as this element is very close to an [[island of stability]]. An estimated five isotopes would then have half lives of over a half second while Ubo-340 would be the most stable.{{Citation needed|date=August 2009}}
