Please start a new topic by enclosing your topic with double equals signs "== Your Topic ==" so that it can all be organized. From time to time I might archive my conversations and put them in one of the archives to the right. If you find that I have "blanked" my talk page, I have likely simply archived old conversations. I will generally always archive and never delete (called blanking by people around here) but I will delete personal attacks or vandalism unless I think they may be relevant to administrative actions later. Please assume that I am the administrator of this talk page and that I may do with it as I please (this means that I archive as I see fit, delete vandalism or rude comments, and may ask you to not post here if you are harassing me. Hello. You are named as a party to the Gun control arbitration case. Note to uncivil, rude, profane, or tendentious editors - it's ok to disagree, it's even normal. I will make every good faith effort to see it your way and work with you to improve any article if you are collegial and civil. I reserve the right to not respond to your statements or questions anywhere on the wiki if you are uncivil, rude, or tendentious - as I define those terms. Please accept my silence, not as a inability to answer, but as a benign form of civil disobedience towards what I see as a disturbing trend on the wiki. |

As I mentioned on my main page, sometimes I can be on here a lot and sometimes it can be months between edits so, if I don't respond - don't despair. If all else fails, be bold. I trust in my fellow editors to keep things going. Wikipedia has existed just fine without me and I'm sure it will continue trudging along just fine long after I finally do completely retire. |

I undid your removal of the link to Gun legislation in Germany on the dab page I created for Gun Control in the Third Reich, because the Germany page is where the historic information regarding German gun control can be found. I also think it is more likely that they would be looking for historical information rather than a book (not to downplay the contributions you are making with the book, but trying to help the average reader find the information that they are looking for.) Your comments on the Gun control workshop
[edit]I have collapsed the comments and personal attacks you made regarding Seraphimblade and threats to leave, your comments are disruptive and are bordering on being a polemic. If you wish to make a comments they must be reasonable and civil and not cast aspersions. If you continue to make inappropriate comments, you may be sanctioned (including a ban from participating in the case or a block) as a clerk action. - You're not a listed clerk for this case. Of course you have collapsed my comments. The accused will be silent! -Justanonymous (talk) 13:13, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Gun control arbitration proposed decision
[edit]Hello. You are named as a party to the Gun control arbitration case. The committee is now voting on its decision for this case, and findings and/or remedies relating to your conduct have been proposed. The decision is being voted on at the Proposed decision page. Comments on the decision can be made at the Proposed decision talk page. As voting is underway, please submit promptly any comments you wish the arbitrators to consider. Thank you. For the Arbitration Committee, AGK [•] 11:30, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
The above named arbitration case has closed, and final decisions are now available at the link above. The following remedies were passed:
- Standard discretionary sanctions are authorised for any edit about, and for all pages relating to, gun control;
- AndyTheGrump (talk · contribs) reminded that further edit-warring as well as incivility will likely result in serious sanctions;
- Gaijin42 (talk · contribs), Justanonymous (talk · contribs), and ROG5728 (talk · contribs) are topic-banned from making any edit about, and from editing any page relating to, gun control;
- Goethean (talk · contribs) reminded that further incivility as well as unnecessary antagonism may result in sanctions;
- North8000 (talk · contribs) is indefinitely site-banned from the English Language Wikipedia; appeals of this ban may be requested no earlier than twelve months since the date the case closed. The twelve-month period of the ban under this remedy is reset if new infringements of the sock puppetry policy occur. In addition, North8000 (talk · contribs) is also indefinitely topic-banned from making any edit about, and from editing any page relating to, gun control. The topic ban that North8000 was subject to due to the Tea Party case remains in force.
The topic-ban remedies passed in this case may not be appealed for at least twelve months, and another twelve months must pass for each subsequent appeal.
