Destroyer is an enemy of Thor that first appeared in issue 118 of ''Journey Into Mystery'' in 1965. He was an armor suit created by [[Odin (comics)|Odin]], Lord of Asgard, Father of [[Loki (comics)|Loki]] and [[Thor (comics)|Thor]]. Thor didn't yet defeat Destroyer in head to head combat. He has unlimited strength, Invulnerabilty, Energy Blast, and a disintegration blast. He fought Thor numerous other times and played a key role during [[Walt Simonson]]'s run on the character's title. He also appeared in ''Marvel Masterworks: Thor Vol. 3 '' and ''Thor: The Dark Gods TPB'. |
