VundoFix

[edit]

VundoFix is a program created and designed by Atribune. Its purpose is to help people infected with Virtumonde infections. The Vundo trojan, which injects randomly named files into the system32 folder, triggers advertisements and pop-ups.

When VundoFix was first released, it used a preset list of 106 CLSIDs to find the files that were infected by the malware. It has since been updated and upgraded many times to include three distinct varities of Vundo and 255 distinct CLSIDs.
