“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” ― George Bernard Shaw
Hello, My name is Sean and I am a Wikipedian. I like to add pages about lesser known movies and update information regarding actors, production companies, producers and directors. I have a unhealthy love for B-rated cheesy horror films. The ones that most people probably cannot finish! I started watching them at a young age due to my mother's fascination with the same genre. If it seems ridiculous and over the top I have probably seen it!
I enjoy editing and creating all different types of pages. Grammar, information, broken links, updated sources, I will do what I can in order to further a Wikipedia page's integrity. I enjoy doing the research and leg work that is needed in order to create a useful page as well as an informative one.
I find myself getting into that Wikipedia rabbit hole everyone talks about, when I start looking up hockey and then 4 hours later I find myself reading about brain rehabilitation or neuroplasticity topics. I enjoy it here so I though I would take the plunge and try my hand at adding to the community's content.
I tend to read, learn and discover things that I would not always gravitate towards normally. I find that when I approach something new, something fresh to my daily norms it sparks something inside me that drives me to want to know more. I've taken that curiosity to Wikipedia. When I start to discover something new to me I will look it up on Wikipedia to see if there is anything here that can help further my knowledge on the topic. I noticed that often times there was not a lot or nothing on the topic I was searching for. This is when I decided to kind of test the waters. I slowly started to make edits which led to larger edits. When I got the courage I decided to create a page. I read about he policies and guidelines and took a chance. Now I have created 6 pages since. Some more important than others. Some closer to my heart than others. I am hoping I can continue to share and learn with Wikipedia!
