Shivalaya (शिवालय) is a place and older name of Kushma Municipality in Parbat District in the Dhawalagiri Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 5234 people living in 1076 individual households.[1]
Shivalaya VDC consist the headquarters of Parbat district; Kushma which is even known as Kusumpuri. It is easy to access to two giant rivers Kaligandaki which is famous for river rafting and Madi Khola which has potentiality of hydro electricity.
