This is a small Village located in TADEPALLI mandal in GUNTUR district. This is a wealthy village with most people are formers, also most of them are well settled. This village is one of the well educated villages in AP. We are just 9 KM away to VIJAYAWADA, 9 KM to MANGALAGIRI, 22 KM to TENALI and 30 KM away from GUNTUR. This village don't have water problem cause getting very tasty water just 15-20 ft from surface. This village land is good for agriculture. Main crops are BANANA (ARATI), TURMERIC(PASUPU) the famous DUGGIRALA PASUPU is from this village & surrounding villages, MAIZE(MOKKAJONNA), PADDY(VARI-RICE), SUGARCANE(CHERAKU), BLACKGRAMS(MINUMULU),CAULIFLOWER, KANDA and ALL TYPES OF VEGETABLES and also Flowers like Jasmine, Rose, Kanakambaram etc.. We have many good schools, colleges near to village. The famous KONERU LAKSHMIAH COLLEGE of ENGINEERING (Now turned as KL University) is just 2 minute ride 1KM apart from this village. As this village is nearer to all comforts(cities, schools, colleges) people lead a pleasant life. In olden days this village people had good knowledge and shares in Mumbai Share Market this village is also termed as Mini Bombay. This village has temples of Rama, Venugopala swamy, Shiva, Vinayaka also a Mosque and Two churches.

Initially, this village is merged into [[Tadepalle Municipality]] along with other eight-gram panchayats — Undavalli, Penumaka, Prathuru, Vaddeswaram, Ippatam, Mellempudi, Chirravuru, and Gundemeda. Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued an order MS 97 issued on 6 February 2020 by Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Andhra Pradesh (MUDA).

Tadepalli Municipality was formed in 2009. In January 2021, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department issued an order notifying the merger of ten-gram panchayats — Undavalli, Penumaka, Prathuru, Vaddeswaram, Ippatam, Mellempudi, Chirravuru, Kunchanapalli, Kolanukonda and Gundemeda of Tadepalli mandal with Tadepalli Municipality.
