Hello, I noticed you deleted info in this edit. The ref says he was convicted, how do you know he wasn't? I reverted your edit btw, but I'd like to hear why you think the ref is wrong. I haven't taken any action yet, but I am concerned about your username, as it seems to imply that you are Lee Scott (politician). Wikipedia's username policy indicates that names of notable individuals (anyone who holds an elective office such as MP is notable) is covered under that portion of the policy. See the relevant portion of the policy. You may want to either change your username or send an e-mail to the Volunteer Response Team (the e-mail link is in the policy section link I cited above). They will tell you what you need to do to verify that you are who your username implies you are. I will wait for several days before going any further (a username block), to give you time to take whichever route you prefer to take, but I cannot allow you to indefinitely edit under the name of a real person without some confirmation of your identity.

Blocked
Don't take this as a personal slight against you; the policy is designed to protect notable people from having their name dragged through the mud by someone else.

Alt text

[edit]

WP:ALT Alt text serves an important function on digital media sources like Wikipedia and edits which remove them (such as this one) decrease the usability of this site. If you replace media (such as one image for another), please also replace the alt text to something relevant for that new piece of media. If you need any help with this or anything else on Wikipedia, don't hesitate to contact me—my e-mail and talk page are in my signature. —Justin (koavf)TCM 11:43, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
