== Actually, you added some great content. ==
I noticed your comment in [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Psychohistory]].

For example, on 6 April 2008‎, [https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=The_Camp_of_the_Saints&type=revision&diff=203637485&oldid=197766644 you added the following]: [[William F. Buckley Jr.]] praised the book as "a great novel" in 2004.<ref name="nro">http://www.nationalreview.com/script/printpage.p?ref=/buckley/wfb200407231332.asp</ref>. This sentence of yours was worked on and others added to it for the next 9 years. But this week, an editor [https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=The_Camp_of_the_Saints&type=revision&diff=795144173&oldid=795142837 deleted both it and its context], under the pretext that «with Buckley's prose and particularly in this instance it can be hard to tell whether he's being serious or sarcastic or something in between». Just a heads-up. Be well, [[User:XavierItzm|XavierItzm]] ([[User talk:XavierItzm|talk]]) 23:23, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
This is the very first time in my wiki-career that I participate voting in an AFD page.

I just came back from a 3-year wikipedia hiatus to find that the article said rave culture began in the 1950s :D – [[user:filelakeshoe|filelakeshoe]] ([[user talk:filelakeshoe|t]] / [[special:contributions/filelakeshoe|c]]) [[User:filelakeshoe/kocour|<span style="font-family: webdings;"><big>&#xF0F6;</big></span>]] 12:57, 10 September 2017 (UTC)

I just voted "Strong keep".

I am not sure, but I remember having read in the past other AFD pages. It seems (i am not sure though) that voters usually state "keep" or "delete" during the voting, and add a <nowiki>*</nowiki> before the statement.

I am too lazy to search now for examples. Anyway, thanks for your comments :)

Comments that focus on the contributor and not on content (or in this case on the AfD discussion) are not constructive and serve no purpose. == Thank you for the interesting addition to the Technocracy movement page ==

I had read about this before... ''Charles Stross has described science fiction itself as "the fictional agitprop arm of the Technocrat movement" which "carried on marching in lockstep into the radiant future even after Technocracy withered in the 1930s."''. I think it is an excellent addition to the article. No doubt at all that many of the writers mentioned by this writer were influenced by Technocracy Incorporated. Of course science fiction goes back to Kepler or even way before..
I have to mention to you that the movement is alive and well currently and gaining new notice... members.. and attention. It is still the most interesting alternative viable possibility for the future.. if there is a future. You may find this series of videos interesting..
http://www.youtube.com/TBonePickensetc
YouTube - TBonePickensetc's Channel. They contain very basic but accurate information on the Technate design for North America.
B.T.W. I do know for a fact that the creator of Star Trek Gene Roddenberry was in contact with the headquarters of Technocracy Incorporated in the 1960's and talked to the office manager on numerous occasions .. name of Berge.. at that time about a whole lot of things. ==Universe of discourse==
Actually, the concept to which is referred is exactly what the article [[domain of discourse]] is about. The article just hasn't been fleshed out so as to include the more rhetorical manifestations of it. Just because the article seems like it's only about symbolic logic, doesn't mean we aren't talking about the same thing. Take a closer look --isn't that what is meant in the article: common objects for considering different interpretations, etc.? [[User:Gregbard|Pontiff Greg Bard]] ([[User talk:Gregbard|talk]]) 22:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
:Maybe? Honestly I can't really tell, there isn't much to go on. I've seen people make goofy mistakes with awb or tools like that in the past, and I assumed that was what was going on with your edit. If you really think that's what the author was talking about then I guess I'll take your word for it.[[User:P4k|P4k]] ([[User talk:P4k#top|talk]]) 22:45, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
::I will be the first to admit that it's a borderline case. However, I would like to see more philosophical terminology wikilinked in more non-philosophical articles in general. I would like for people to see it when philosophy is being worked into the discourse, etc. In this case it is a matter of interpretation to say that it should be wikilinked. It's inside a quote, so that's a factor also. Be well, [[User:Gregbard|Pontiff Greg Bard]] ([[User talk:Gregbard|talk]]) 23:14, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

I behaved quite badly during a lot of my time on Wikipedia so please consider this an apology if you happen to see it.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Actually, you added some great content.

[edit]

For example, on 6 April 2008‎, you added the following: William F. Buckley Jr. praised the book as "a great novel" in 2004.[1]. This sentence of yours was worked on and others added to it for the next 9 years. But this week, an editor deleted both it and its context, under the pretext that «with Buckley's prose and particularly in this instance it can be hard to tell whether he's being serious or sarcastic or something in between». Just a heads-up. Be well, XavierItzm (talk) 23:23, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
