I abandoned this account back in 2006 as I preferred to post anonymously. Unfortunately, I logged back in to update a couple of pages I'd previously edited as [[User:MickWest]] and got blocked as a sock puppet! My mistake, but no great loss as I wasn't using it. |

Hello, I'm Mick West, a former videogame programmer and now a skeptical writer who investigates conspiracy theories, pseudoscience, and UFOs.
I abandoned this account back in 2006 as I preferred to post anonymously. Unfortunately, I logged back in to update a couple of pages I'd previously edited as User:MickWest and got blocked as a sock puppet! My mistake, but no great loss as I wasn't using it.
Sixteen years later, I've not been writing anonymously for many years, and I'm MickWest everywhere else on the internet, so I asked for this account to be unblocked, and here I am!
