Your messages
Thanks for your interest. Please, don't post your messages at this page, but
However, if you find some mistake in this page (especially a typo or an awkward wording), feel free to fix.

My intentions
I don't like to make things that others can do much better than me. It's why I almost do not contribute to the mainstream articles in the English section of the Wikipedia project.

I know about Russia/Soviet Union much more than average wikipedian, it's why I mostly participate discussions related to the Russian/Soviet history.

However, in the Russian section I contribute a wide range of articles, my interests are really encyclopedic and I'm happy to contribute to the Wikipedia project.

The Three Principles of the English Wikipedia
It's the 3. English 2. modern 1. encyclopedia.

# Encyclopedias not necessary reflect the truth. They reflect the knowledge. Hence the Wikipedia should reflect the knowledge. The non-mainstream theories should be always attributed, the common fallacies may be commented and explained, but not removed.
# Modern terms might look incorrect for our precursors. However, the Wikipedia should name and describe things as they are named and described now, providing some reasonable conservatism (say, relying on the recent 25 years whenever possible).
# In the English section of the Wikipedia, the English-world wording prevails. The English Wikipedia should name things as they are named in English.

These principles of course do not replace the Wikipedia Rules and Guidelines, but complement them.

It is my understanding of the Wikipedia project.

My own TO DO
To participate Wikipedia:World_War_II_Wikireader.

Wikipedia:Russian_History_Harmonization - a project intended to reach the real academic quality of facts related to the Russian history. ...to move there discusions from Russians, etc. The first thing that should be done is to fix the usage of Rus and its derivatives. To write an essay about the Russia/Muscovy naming issue, providing references to documents.

...to fix the biased and inaccurate Ukrainian nationalistic contributions - mostly by Genyo - in many articles related to
Ukraine and Russia.

Tatarstan - to add the information about Tatar contributions into the World and Russian history. ...to merge two sections about relations between the RT and the federal governments. Idel-Ural - to expand the article.
