Each year the concert will host 14 bands that range from locally to nationally known. It was announced that for the 2011 Festival, [[Green Day]] is planning on performing. According to the 929 Earthfest website, Green Day is not preforming. LIVE's Ed Kowalczyk, OK Go, Sponge, and Atomic Tom will be preforming at the 2011 Earthday event on May 21st.

The concert averages 125,000 people yearly, hosts 14 bands on 3 stages, and was the largest radio station "Earth" or "Green" related event in New England. The yearly festival stopped after 2016.
