As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the [[Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history/Awards#"Military_historian_of_the_Year"|Military Historian of the Year]] and the [[Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history/Awards#"Military_history_Newcomer_of_the_Year"|Military History Newcomer of the Year]]. The [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Coordinators|co-ordinators]] invite all project members to get involved by nominating any editor they feel merits recognition for their contributions to the project.
