Regardless of opinion, he claims Molossian nationality and while it is not recognized, he would be more accurately described as being american-born. Finally, regardless of notability having children included is relevant to biography. |

Kevin Baugh (born 30 July 1962) is an American-born micronationalist who is the founder and President of the Republic of Molossia, a self-proclaimed micronation that is not formally recognised by any world government. His presidential term started on the 3 September 1999, which is the official date of foundation of Molossia. However, his involvement in micronationalism goes way back to the end of the 1970s. He has made several endeavours in the micronational community, including the biennual MicroCon – the largest gathering of micronationalists. |

The origins of Molossia come from a micronation childhood project, called the Grand Republic of Vuldstein, which was founded by Baugh and his friend James Spielman on 26 May 1977. After several changes to the micronation, Baugh moved to Nevada in 1998, declaring it as Molossia's territory, and he officially declared it as the Republic of Molossia in 1999, proclaiming himself as president. Molossia has since gained a considerable amount of media attention, and now hosts multiple tours which see fifty visitors per year.<ref>Spencer, Like (14 April 2016) Interviewing the President of the Sovereign Nation Inside Nevada. Baugh also created the "Intermicronational Olympic Games" in 2000, which he stated; "I believe that all micronations should exist as much as possible in the real world [...] doing real things in real places with real people." The digital micronation TorHavn organized a follow-up in April 2002, though only two micronations joined, Molossia and Farallonus, with the latter nation sweeping gold. Several micronationalists have since unsuccessfully attempted to revive the games.<ref>Hay, Mark (14 October 2016) The Absurd History Of The Intermicronational Olympic Games.
