In the infobox it says this player was drafted 4th overall and in the lead says 8th overall, which one is correct? Please fix that if you can. Seriesphile (talk · ctb) 18:13, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

@Seriesphile: Done already. It is 4th, not 8th. I wonder how did that happen. Babymissfortune 00:55, 15 January 2017 (UTC)

Declined speedy deletion nomination of Team Diversity

Hello Babymissfortune. Speedy deletion work is important and I do appreciate the effort. I would just ask that you please review the criteria carefully because accuracy is also important. On that issue, I have declined your speedy deletion nomination of Team Diversity as being recently created and duplicating an existing topic under CSD A10. That criterion did not apply because A10 covers articles that "do... not expand upon, detail or improve information", and any article that "expands or reorganizes an existing one", such as this article, should not be covered under this criterion. following up

Hi I am trying to make some edits to Rick Warrens page. He has provided me with some edits and I am trying to add them, however the edits I am making keep reverting back to the original text. Can you please let me know what I need to do to update / correct the Rick Warren Wiki page without it reverting back to the previous verbiage? Thank you so much for any direction you can provide. Have a great day! Beth Rode (talk) 06:28, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Beth

@Beth Rode: Actually, the edit is not reverted. It is only hidden to public view. That page is currently protected with WP:Pending changes protection. Edits from IP addresses and new users, like you will be reviewed by pending charges reviewers, like me. And it is up to us if we are going to accept it based on the faith of the user. I have accepted it already so don't worry.

thank you

Hello Babymissfortune Thank you for allowing me to add my edits. I appreciate it. I wanted to add a "heart" showing my appreciation however I am unsure which picture to select (I am seeing kittens and stars). I would assume that this is a good thing to do when you are interacting with a professional and helpful Wiki editor? I see that you undid some of my edits on PBA-related topics replaced them with quite inaccurate ones. Well, if that will make you happy, then I won't bother to mess with it. I'd just like to know how long have you been watching the PBA for you to make such bold edits as if you are a Philippine basketball historian? @Atty jdrew: To you mister "historian", first of all, create a separate section for your message and sign it. That is easy you know :D. Next, please cite a source for the info that you are adding so that it can be confirmed. As if you didn't know? :D Best regards to you, man! xD Babymissfortune 14:30, 8 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello.

I am new to Wikipedia and am not quite sure how to reply to you message on my 'my talk' page. You said my "recent contribution seem to be advertising..." I do not know how you came to this conclusions since I wrote absolutely nothing that would be advertising. I wrote a fact. Michael Jordan has the most 3's in an half with the old hand checking rules. Please clarify? Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MyMajesty (talkcontribs) 07:08, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

@MyMajesty: That was a mistake. You did not make any advertisings here. My bad.
Anyway, I removed that info you added because that is irrelevant. We do not list a record of "most three pointers made with the old handcheck rules". What does that even show? Please only add relevant records. Babymissfortune 09:38, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Question about your edit on a page I created

Page is: Austropetalia Question: you edited a page and moved the dragonfly-stub to the bottom of the page. Why?

I was under the impression that the Categories were supposed to be at the bottom of the page. Also, I have been putting a taxonbar near the bottom of the page, and above the stub, where it sits against the Categories bar. Where you have left the stub, the page now looks disjointed.

Is there a good reason to put the stub at the end? John Tann (talk) 09:58, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

@John Tann: Per WP:SVSP, the stub template should be at the bottom of the page, below the categories. Please read. Thanks. Babymissfortune 10:03, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

Got it. I must have misread or misunderstood the instructions. So, do you just go through and fix all my bad markup after I create a page? It sounds like an onerous job. John Tann (talk) 12:15, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

Lou Williams and reverting pending changes...

....just to let you know that sometimes it can be more expedient not to reject all the pending revisions, but simply restore the last compliant version of the article (you kind of "reverted" my edit regarding semi-protection with your revert). Anyway, I was just pinged because of that. Cheers and happy editing; keep up the good work. Lectonar (talk) 13:53, 22 February 2017 (UTC)

@Lectonar: Oh I'm very sorry about that! Anyway, thank you for noticing that and notifying me. Babymissfortune 14:01, 22 February 2017 (UTC)

On 7 April 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 2016–17 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that by winning the 2016–17 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, the San Miguel Beermen became the second team in Philippine Basketball Association history to keep permanent possession of the Jun Bernardino Trophy? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/2016–17 PBA Philippine Cup Finals. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, 2016–17 PBA Philippine Cup Finals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

A question for you

Hi Babymissfortune, in this edit you say "They aren't tied at 1st. they are 1st and 2nd". But I'm not sure why you think Vettel led, even though Hamilton had the same number of points. The reliable sources don't agree on this and the recent discussion on the season article did not reach a consensus on that. What is your rationale for that and do you have references supporting it? -- de Facto (talk). 08:23, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

@DeFacto: You already said that there was no concensus, but you still changed it abruptly. One user in the discussion also stated that it could be left as-is. As far as I remember, the table in formula1.com shows that Vettel is 1 and Hamilton is 2. I think there shouldn't be an argument whether Hamilton is also 1st or he is placed 2nd. If you want to change it again, go on for I do not want to debate on such minor change. Babymissfortune 08:53, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
As I knew there was no consensus I changed it to neutral wording which didn't imply either (or neither) was ahead of the other. You changed it to say Vettel was ahead. Some RSs show 1. Vettel, 2. Hamilton - some show vice-versa, hence there is no consistency or consensus. I think to choose one over the other is non-neutral POV. The decision to leave it as it was on the season article was OK because the season article current standings change every race (and have now changed). OTOH, the 2017 Chinese Grand Prix article standings after the race will never change - which is why it is important to get it absolutely correct and NPOV. -- de Facto (talk). 09:05, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
Hey Babymissfortune, I have the same question. According to FIA regulations there are no other given sorting parameters than number of points and numbers of higher places. As in that case both drivers had the completely same performances there aren't any other criterios to sort them into first/second place. If you have some sources that gives other sorting criterios please correct me. Respublik (talk) 11:31, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

Injuries

There are many types of injuries. of which falls on two categories. It can be minor or major.

Minor injuries is the type of injury of which the player can play through it during the game. Which Paul Lee has done earlier in the current Com. Cup and of which Aldrech Ramos is currently having(with the injury to his nose and the face mask that goes with it).

Major injuries are the ones when a player cannot play because of the said injury, or if the team consider/ruled him as out for the for the conference or the season.

What you consider as being Injured means an automatic INACTIVE player status is false. Not all injuries on the team can be considered Inactive. We can revert Pingris' status back to active once the team made an announcement. Unless he is on the line-up as you considered him to be, then Grayann Mendoza should be stricken out of the line-up and Depth Chart as PBA only allows 15 players on every roster.

Here's a reference on Pingris' missing the entire Comm Cup.

Anyways, It's all good. If you want to undo my edit it's ok. No hard feelings,No harm done. Just for the betterment of the page. Good day!

Thank you very much~

Thank you for your attention to me, an amateur editor~ Your kind reminder is and should be very useful. I am very new to the talk page, so I really have many questions. In fact, when looking at the hints on your talk page, I originally planned to answer you on my talk page. However, I even don't know how (there is no "reply" button as those in public forums >_<) so I just leave you a message. If you don't mind to teach, I am willing to learn how to better use the talk page. And the four tildes (I first misread as tides)... should I add at the end of this message? Rick Pitino wiki page

Hello, please note that Rick Pitino did in fact have to surrender/vacate several titles in his career due to illegal activity. Including but not limited to:
▪ Public reprimand and censure for the university.

▪ Four years of probation from June 15, 2017, through June 14, 2021.

▪ A suspension from the first five ACC games of the 2017-18 season for Pitino. During the suspension, the head coach may not be present in the arena where the games are played and have no contact with the student-athletes or members of his coaching staff. The head coach also may not participate in any activities including, but not limited to, team travel, practice, video study and team meetings.

▪ A 10-year show-cause period for former operations director Andre McGee from June 15, 2017, through June 14, 2027. During that period, any NCAA member school employing the former coach must restrict him from holding any athletically related duties and from having any contact with prospects and their families.

▪ A one-year show-cause order for the former program assistant from June 15, 2017, through June 14, 2018. During that period, any NCAA member school employing him can schedule an appearance before a panel of the COI to determine whether he should be subject to show-cause provisions.

▪ A vacation of basketball records in which student-athletes competed while ineligible from December 2010 and July 2014. The university will provide a written report containing the games impacted to the NCAA media coordination and statistics staff within 45 days of the public decision release.

▪ A reduction in men’s basketball scholarships by two during the 2016-17 year (self-imposed by the university). Additionally, the university must reduce men’s basketball scholarships by four over the probation period. The university may take the reductions during any year of that period.

▪ A prohibition of men’s basketball coaching travel during the April 2016 recruiting period, which resulted in a reduction of men’s basketball recruiting opportunities by 30 (self-imposed by the university).

▪ A reduction of recruiting travel during the July 2016 recruiting period by six days (self-imposed by the university).

▪ A reduction in the number of men’s basketball official visits to a total of 10 during the 2015-16 year. Additionally, the university will have no more than a total of 16 visits during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 years (self-imposed by the university).

▪ During the probation period, men’s basketball prospects on unofficial visits may not stay overnight in any campus dorms or school-owned property.

▪ A disassociation of the former operations director (self-imposed by the university). The public decision describes the details of his disassociation.

▪ A $5,000 fine (self-imposed by the university). The university must also return to the NCAA the money received through conference revenue sharing for its appearances in the 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championships. Future revenue distributions that are scheduled to be provided to the university from those tournaments also must be withheld by the conference and forfeited to the NCAA.

▪ A postseason ban for the men’s basketball team for the 2015-16 season (self-imposed by the university).

Pitino, Athletics Director Tom Jurich and interim president Greg Postel were to address the report at a news conference at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Last fall, the NCAA accused Louisville of four serious violations and criticized the conduct of Pitino for failing to monitor a former basketball staffer, McGee, who allegedly hired escorts and strippers for sex parties with recruits and players. Pitino disputed that assertion.

The investigation began after the publication in 2015 of Katina Powell’s book, “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen.”

Powell wrote that McGee paid her $10,000 for strippers to perform 22 shows from 2010-2014 — a period that includes Louisville’s NCAA 2012-13 championship season — with many occurring in the players’ Billy Minardi Hall dormitory. The building is named for Pitino’s brother-in-law, who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York. "Rick Pitino". Retrieved 15 June 2017.
