Convoy is recognized by many Asian-Americans in San Diego County because the area is known for being the home to a diverse community of Asian-owned businesses. Convoy is located close to the heart of San Diego county and is situated between the communities of [[Clairemont, San Diego, California|Clairemont]] to the west, [[Tierrasanta]] to the east, [[Miramar, San Diego, California|Miramar]]/[[Mira Mesa]] to the north, and [[Linda Vista]]/[[Serra Mesa]] to the south.
