The article [[Bard ermentrout]] has been [[WP:BLPPROD|proposed for deletion]] because it appears to have no reliable references. Under [[Wikipedia:BLPPROD#Objecting|Wikipedia policy]], this '''[[WP:BLP|biography of a living person]]''' will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a [[WP:V#Sources|reliable source]] that directly supports material in the article. |
⚫ | |||
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see [[Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners|Referencing for beginners]], or ask at the [[Wikipedia:Help desk|help desk]]. Once you have provided at least one [[WP:V#Sources|reliable source]], you may remove the {{tl|prod blp/dated}} tag. '''Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced.''' If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can {{#ifexist:Bard ermentrout|request that it be undeleted|[[Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion|request that it be undeleted]]}} when you are ready to add one.<!-- Template:ProdwarningBLP --> [[User:Animalparty|--Animalparty!]] ([[User talk:Animalparty|talk]]) 16:42, 21 September 2016 (UTC) |

==Please attribute or claim media you uploaded or restored: [[:File:Pbc burst.png]]== |
You uploaded or restored , [[:File:Pbc burst.png]], but for various reasons did not add an {{tl|information}} block, or indicate your (user) name on the file description page. Media uploaded to Wikipedia needs information on the '''SPECIFIC''' authorship and source of files, to ensure that it complies with [[WP:COPYRIGHT|copyright]] laws in various jurisdictions. |
''If it's entirely your own work'':<br />'''please include {{tl|own}} in the relevant source field''', amend the {{tl|information}} added by a third party, '''ensuring that your user name (or name you want used for attribution) is clear in the author field''', and change the license to an appropriate "self" variant (if such a license is not already used). You should also add an <nowiki>|author=</nowiki> parameter to the license tag, to assist reviews and image patrollers. |
{{smaller block|When you have copmpleted the above steps: |
*If the {{tl|media by uploader}} tag is present please add, a <code><nowiki>|claimed=yes</nowiki></code> </code> parameter to the tag. |
*If the {{tl|img-unclaimed}} tag is present, please change it to {{tl|img-claimed}} |
to indicate that you've accepted the given the license shown, and updated the file description page appropriately. }} |
''If it's not entirely your own work, or the media [[WP:DERIVATIVE|is based on the work of others]]'':<br /> |
Please update the source and authorship fields, so that they accurately reflect the source and authors of the original work(s), as well as the derivative you created. You should also not use a "self" license unless the work is entirely you own. Media that is incorrectly claimed as self or {{tl|own}}, will eventually be listed at [[WP:FFD|Files for Discussion]] or deleted, unless it's full status is entirely clear to other contributors, reviewers and image patrollers. You should also read [[Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission]] which details how to confirm any permissions you obtained for works by others that are still in copyright. |
Whilst this notification, relates to a single media upload, it would also be appreciated if you could ensure that appropriate attribution exists for other media you uploaded, You can find a list of files you have created [{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=upload&user=BBAmp}} in your upload log]. |
If media is not claimed, and there's no other obvious source or authorship information, the file may have to be removed for copyright reasons. |

It's okay to remove or strike messages like this once the concerns have been addressed. :). |

I've reverted your redirect to Theta Model as it does not meet WP:CAPS. The original version will work. Calabe1992 21:20, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Understanding your articles
[edit]BB, you have been creating some articles that I just can't make any sense of in the slightest. Quadratic integrate and fire and Parabolic bursting are some examples. The first one seems to clearly be a math topic, but I don't even know what the second is even about. Please try to write to provide more context for readers that aren't experts. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 07:21, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- Looking a bit more, I'm not even sure the first article is a math topic anymore. This is almost speedy deletable as no context. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 07:23, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- Could you give me some time to add content?? Quadratic integrate and fire is an important model in computational neuroscience and there are hundreds and hundreds of papers which use this model. If there are wikipedia articles on models like the theta model, Fitzhugh-Nagumo, and Hodgkin-Huxley, I don't know why a page for the QIF model can't exist. The wikipedia page on bursting is sparse, so I plan to add more on parabolic bursting and elliptic bursting. I created these articles so I can add content later, and they are far far far from complete. I am busy. Just give me some time.BBAmp (talk) 12:44, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- For the record the number of articles on computational neuroscience is pathetically small so I will be adding many many more articles which will start off like the ones you saw. However, they will be accessible to laymen with time.BBAmp (talk) 13:01, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
I saw your revised articles and they are much better, so thank you. Also, I wasn't planning on nominating them for speedy deletion, at least not without hearing from you first. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 15:24, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'm glad you saw an improvement. I'll continue to work on them! Thank you for the initial feedback and for clearing things up with me first :) BBAmp (talk) 16:19, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
CS1 error on Neural oscillation
[edit]Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Neural oscillation, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 16:44, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
