Yuan and Chun finally decides to create chaos. Cheung and Fong see through their trick and followed Yuan. Yuan takes Fong as a hostage and goes to the place where Chun goes to assassinate the target, and acts in his place, but Cheung and other police officers follow Fong's tracker and rush to the scene, which makes the assassination impossible. Fong says that she would not let this "show" be messed up in her hands. Yuan knews that the defeat was doomed, so he decides to expose himself and is shot dead by the police. The police promotes Cheung and Fong as the heroes of this "show". |

Yuen hides out in the apartment of Yip, a bumbling taxi driver and single father of two. With the reluctant help of Yip's computer whiz son, he plays an intricate cat and mouse game with the police, releasing suspicious images of the police being defeated to the media. Superintendent Fong thwarts the effort with tricks of her own, including releasing a sumptuous packed lunch to the numerous squads on duty. After PTU officers were defeated in the first raid attempt, SDU operators were called in to flush out Yuen and his fellow mobsters. |

At the end of the story, the killer Chun takes Yuan's place in hijacking the cash withdrawal vehicle and is also shot dead. |

Inspector Cheung successfully tracks down Yuen, though he is defeated only after a high-octane chase and gunfight sequence, with Fong held hostage. |
