More Details Needed! Does it help for Proximal=InterDental Caries on Permanent Adult Teeth?

[edit]

Or has Silver Fluoride only been proven the best form of Fluoride in Children?

We need more exact figures. Like Silver Fluoride stops xy percent of proximal caries lesions Vs other form of Fluoride only stops zc percent of proximal caries lesions.

Is there a toothpaste with Silver Fluoride or is it only available at a Dentist or Hygienist? 88.192.242.201 (talk) 11:03, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It may be the best form but it'll turn the tooth surface black. The dentist had to put it in my child's because we aren't able to restrain and sedate him for a proper tooth filling. Like now, it looks like my child have a "black" tooth decay LoL! I can't wait till the next appointment to fill his teeth properly.Jpogi (talk) 19:36, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Verification of composition

[edit]

I could find no crystal structure nor any paper that isolates the solid. So thus far we are taking the dental profession's word for what this stuff is. Naked fluoride anion would be unusual.--Smokefoot (talk) 11:57, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
