This article relies far too heavily on primary sources, introducing bias the author has towards themselves, so I have added the primary sources template. Shidouuu (talk) 00:46, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
:"This article contains content that is written like an advertisement."

How so?

What is it advertising?

Carnegie passed away in 1955, so it's obviously not advertising him.
His books were published before he passed away.

The only thing that seems like a possible "ad" to me is a link to the Dale Carnegie Training company in the "external links" section, but I think that's a fair point of interest for someone reading the article.

I do agree that the article is pretty thin though ... it could be well served by updating it after consulting references like:

* https://www.amazon.com/Self-help-Messiah-Carnegie-Success-America-ebook/dp/B009MYB80Q
* How to Win Friends and Influence People

It could also benefit from splitting the article into a section on his life story and business success, and a different section on critical assessment of his life and work, which might address some of the "advertising" concerns.

Excessive use of primary sources

[edit]

This article relies far too heavily on primary sources, introducing bias the author has towards themselves, so I have added the primary sources template. Shidouuu (talk) 00:46, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
