Accreditation: The Comanche Nation College is pleased to announce that the College received official word from the accrediting body in reference to its submittal of the Preliminary Information Form (PIF) on March 22, 2011. It was stated by the accrediting body that, “It is evident that the Comanche Nation College has dedicated time and effort to develop the infrastructure necessary for achieving candidacy and accreditation. The College has strengths in their legal status, their mission, governance and administration, core values and strategic priorities as related to their culture, qualified personnel, financial capacity, and policies and procedures.” Dr. Lopez states that, “The requirements, to continue in the process, require that the College complete a Self-Study and an on-site visit by the Commission. The timelines in the next year will need to be carefully planned to complete the requirements before revisions occur with the accrediting body.” Dr. Consuelo Lopez, Phd, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools 03/22/2011. |
