The tournament will feature the host team, the Capital District Cyclones, and five regional representatives to be determined through playdowns. The six teams will play a 15-game round robin, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-final games, which will determine who will play in the bronze medal game and gold medal games. Coverage of all tournament games will be streamed online at fasthockey.com.
