I don't know. I used Wiki to keep myself updated when I couldn't watch Wimbledon on TV for one of the rounds last year. It was kind of nice being able to just quickly check in on all the matches. ([[User:Neosystems|Neosystems]] ([[User talk:Neosystems|talk]]) 02:32, 14 January 2008 (UTC))

: The brackets are used to represent when a match tiebreak occurs - only happens in the doubles. With the U.S. Open as the exception, playing until there is a two-game lead in the final set is standard at the grand slams. Back on topic, yes, updates mid-match are useful but the primary focus should be finished matches. Updating Scores

I feel they should only be updated after the matches are finished not updated after each set in every match. Vonce (talk) 01:46, 14 January 2008 (GMT)

I don't know. I used Wiki to keep myself updated when I couldn't watch Wimbledon on TV for one of the rounds last year. It was kind of nice being able to just quickly check in on all the matches. (Neosystems (talk) 02:32, 14 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]

The brackets are used to represent when a match tiebreak occurs - only happens in the doubles. With the U.S. Open as the exception, playing until there is a two-game lead in the final set is standard at the grand slams. Back on topic, yes, updates mid-match are useful but the primary focus should be finished matches. Yohan euan o4 (talk) 16:01, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
