HerkusMonte, please do not restore a stand alone statement that is blatantly bias into a high level city article. To call a minority, no matter how small a "social group" is blatantly demeaning and bias at best and racist at worst. The pre-war Polish community was around 1,500-2,000 people, and was similar in size to the city's Jewish community. Would Jan Musekamp also call the Jewish community a "social group", saying something like a Jewish social group was deported to concentration camps??? I would perhaps advise that you refrain form adding stand alone text about "before 1945" (it was Germany) or "after 1945" (expelled Germans) into every Polish town and village article. In many case, it appears that the new text exceeds what's already written in these small stub articles, thus clearly creating issues of undue weight and balance. Also, if you want to expand on the history of a particular place, then please start at the beginning, as most of those areas were part of the Piast Poland and were inhabited by the Slavs, before German colonization. 1945 is not the "start of history", for those places. --[[User:E-960|E-960]] ([[User talk:E-960|talk]]) 14:19, 20 February 2022 (UTC) |

[edit]I just thought to check and saw that you have been systematically reverting those automated deletions of former placenames by Materialscientist that I challenged at their user talk and then asked about at WikiProject Poland (discussion continues) and WikiProject Germany. I don't know how you have even identified them, Materialscientist makes so many edits, but there is clear agreement that the name removals, at least, should be undone. The names of these towns as they were known to the world for centuries, and perhaps more importantly as they were known the people who lived their lives there and whose bones are buried in that earth, are undeniably historically and genealogically relevant and deserve to be included.
