German terminology

[edit]

@Boczi and Rrostrom: Original version of the article used "Area Headquarters (Wehrersatzbezirk Hauptquartier) and Sub-area headquarters (Wehrbezirk Hauptquartier)", which may have been an incomplete translation where descriptive terms have been used as official titles. A gsearch [1] indicates that the headquarters of a Wehrersatzbezirk was a Wehrersatzinspektion under a Wehrersatzinspektor; the headquarters of a Wehrbezirk was a Wehrbezirkskommando under a Wehrbezirkskommandeur; and the headquarters of a Wehrmeldebezirk was a Wehrmeldeamt under a Wehrbezirksoffizier (eg [2],[3], etc). The change to "Bereich Hauptsitze ("Area headquarters"), which controlled Unterregion Hauptsitze ("Sub-region Headquarters")" was made in this edit and appears have literally translated the terms. ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 04:36, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
