The [https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Data_conversion&oldid=819222726 current version of this article] mentions "pivotal encodings", but this is most likely a neologism that was invented for this particular article. I haven't seen any use of this phrase outside of Wikipedia, except for [https://www.google.com/search?q=%22pivotal+encoding%22 a few pages] that refer to this Wikipedia article. Is there such a thing as a "pivotal encoding?"
[edit]The current version of this article mentions "pivotal encodings", but this is most likely a neologism that was invented for this particular article. I haven't seen any use of this phrase outside of Wikipedia, except for a few pages that refer to this Wikipedia article. Jarble (talk) 06:00, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
