At the very end of the film, after the credits roll, it clearly shows "A Mervyn LeRoy Film" made into the terrain behind the Warner Bros. logo. Bill S. (talk) 12:24, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why the disclaimer at the beginning of the film?

Why did Warner Bros. put the disclaimer at the beginning of the film stating that the movie was fictional and did not represent any actual persons when in fact the entire movie was a rendition of the real life Mary Phagan murder case of 1913? 50.202.81.2 (talk) 16:47, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
