- No mention about the small Franco-descended people, the Walsers of French-Swiss ancestry from Valais, Switzerland moved into Wallachia during the Austro-Hungarian empire era (late 1800's) to cultivate and develop high-quality wines across Hungary and Romania, one of them is the famed Tokay wines prized by both the Hapsburgs and Romanov families in Russia. + 71.102.32.144 (talk) 19:05, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
