It might be worth noting that this GQ piece (https://www.gq.com/story/the-man-who-forgot-he-was-a-rapper) including interview with T La Rock, whilst observing his full name to be Clarence Ronnie Keaton, makes several references to him as 'Terrence' (as in, rather than simply 'Terry'), in the context even of his mother reminding him of his name following his brain injury, and childhood friends recognising him as 'Terrence'.
