I have just modified one external link on Boynton High School. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20051202003140/http://www.cuhsd.org:80/ltfip/hist_boy.html to http://www.cuhsd.org/ltfip/hist_boy.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}

Why doesn't Blackford High School have its own page
[edit]It isn't accurate that Blackford High School was renamed Boynton. There was a lot of history between the time Blackford (1962-1991) was closed and the creation of Boynton. It became Harker Academy for several years. Boynton was built on a small corner of the former Blackford campus, but it is not a new name for the original school. There are thousands of Blackford High alumni and there are notable Blackford High School alumni who cannot be listed because there is no page for Blackford. I discovered this when they were erroneously listed as notable alumni on my former high school, Prospect High in Saratoga, CA.
Smash Mouth's original lead singer Steve Harwell is a member of Blackford High alumni. So is actress Debbie Carrington, both of whom have their own Wikipedia pages.
Campbell High School is another closed high school that was active during my youth in the Campbell Union High School District. For some reason, Campbell High still has a page outlining its history. But Blackford does not.
I looked into the task of creating a Blackford page and was quickly overwhelmed. Some edits I made to my own high school page appear to have been done incorrectly because the font colors don't match. I would so appreciate it if a page could be created for Blackford High. Some information can be found here: http://www.blackfordhs.org/ Caligirl530 (talk) 02:23, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
