Pronunciation of "bruit" in medicine

[edit]

I have always been taught that the correct pronunciation of "bruit" in medicine, is BROO-ee. Acter (talk) 08:46, 14 January 2008 (UTC) acter[reply]

Thanks for catching that. The uses with the broot pronunciation are mostly archaic. I can't find any assimilated pronunciation for the French medical phrases, however (some might say broo-EE, perhaps), so I didn't try making one. kwami (talk) 09:00, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
