It says that the limestone was deposited 400 million years ago during the Ordovician period. The problem with this is that the Ordovician took place 488 million years ago. 400 million years ago was the Devonian period. I went to the cave's official website and that makes the same dating mistake. So which is it? Was the limestone deposited 400 million years ago or was it deposited during the Ordovician? Incorrect dating of age of limestone deposit
