Not true. The date refers to the last time that a goal was scored during a specific annual match on St Andrews day between the Scholars and Oppidans (the rest of the school). Goals have been scored many times during other matches throughout the years.

Also, list of Keepers is a real case where an Oxford comma would be useful to make it clear which Wall has two Keepers. I have a real hard time understanding the explanation.

Hybrid game

I think this is misleading. I'm pretty sure that the Eton games predate the codification of either soccer or rugby and cannot therefore be a mixture of the two games. Soccer is actually supposed to be a descendent of Eton football (though I think this is the Eton field game) not vice versa.
