Top 1000 Countdown
Top 1000 Countdown
I think the "Top 1000 Countdown" might be worthy of mention. I don't know if KISW does it anymore, especially since KZOK seems to have taken it upon itself to continue the tradition. Perhaps it moved from KISW to KZOK with Steve Slaton. Things I'd like to know are the years it began and ended. I recall they aimed to reach the number #1 song around midnight on December 31st, but I know one year when they didn't reach it until around 2:30 AM. The KISW countdown was a 24-hour round the clock event, whereas the KZOK countdown is (or has evolved into) a daily segment running from 10 am starting on Christmas day (dec25th) and ending around either 8 or 10 PM. ==Wither Steve Rock, and Metal Shop==
Got a double for people here per some changes.

First, I think Steve Rock may be floating around, but don't know - can't check the website from here.

Second, anybody got the names of the new DJs for Metal Shop? They came in last week. --<span style="background:Orange;color:Black">Dennis The Tiger</span> (Rawr and stuff) 00:58, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

With regard to Metal Shop, it should be mentioned that it debuted in the mid-1980's or perhaps earlier. Beau Roberts hosted back then. I'm sure Steve Slaton could confirm. Jennsten (talk) 16:38, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

John Langan's name is spelled two different ways on this page. In the "History" section, it is spelled "Langan." In the "Epic Rock" section, I believe it is misspelled ("Langen.") I cannot site a reference and therefore am not editing anything, but believe the correct spelling is LANGAN (not Langen.)

The current article attributes "Lowdown" to Dan Wilke, however, I remember it as being pre-Wilke. Steve Slaton was hosting "Lowdown" before Wilke even worked for the station.
