Communist sponsored attempts were made to erase the Vimohana Samaram from Kerala History. On the 50th anniversary of the Anagamaly Firing, one of the popular daily newspaparer tried to portray the Angamaly firing as an aftermath of a quarrel in a toddy-shop. But all these attempts became unsuccessful as the Pople of Kerala lead a socond liberation struggle - on the 50th anniversary of the first liberation struggle - and defeated the communist party again. |

I'm going to propose renaming this article to "Vimochana Samaram" because that's the more common terminology in India. It should be noted that many wars and internal conflicts in Africa, Asia, and South America were also referred to as "liberation struggles" or "the liberation struggle" so it's not very appropriate for this article to retain such a generic title. This was the role played by the CIA in the vimochana samaram.1

Proposed renaming
[edit]Howzit all.
