Orphaned references in Massachusetts National Guard

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Massachusetts National Guard's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "GSO":

  • From 10th Mountain Division: "GlobalSecurity.org: 10th Mountain Division". GlobalSecurity. Retrieved 6 July 2009.
  • From 43rd Sustainment Brigade: "GlobalSecurity.org: 43rd Support Brigade". GlobalSecurity. Archived from the original on 15 July 2009. Retrieved 11 July 2009. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)
  • From 26th Infantry Division (United States): "GlobalSecurity.org: 26th Infantry Division". GlobalSecurity. Archived from the original on 4 September 2009. Retrieved 24 September 2009. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:15, 25 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Segregation and integration

[edit]

The article does not mention segregation or integration of the National Guard. As a state unit it was exempt from the 1948 desegregation order, and had not integrated as of 1949. It's difficult to find sources on this topic. Catrìona (talk) 19:42, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
