:Simple really. A [[weaponsmith]] is more generalised and may have additional skills over those of a specific [[bladesmith]]. A weaponsmith may be able to make war bows, normally the preserve of a bowyer. In addition to the slashing, stabbing and cutting weapons a bladesmith makes, weaponsmithing also produces crushing and piercing weapons like mauls, hammers, flails, morning stars, spears and maces. Simple really. A weaponsmith is more generalised and may have additional skills over those of a specific bladesmith. A weaponsmith may be able to make war bows, normally the preserve of a bowyer.
