[edit]

This information seems to be worng. Author of Panchatantra is Vishnugupt more familiarly known as Chanakya or Kautilya.

No. Kautilya was the author of Arthasastra. Meursault2004 19:43, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

Moving article

[edit]

Vishnu Sharma is a much more common spelling. I think the naming of this article was an unintentional error, since श is ś, which is definitely Sh and not S. --Hunnjazal (talk) 00:09, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Beydebâ

[edit]

was the name of the author of Panchatantra > Kalila wa Dimne (Kelile ve Dimne) in Turkish sources... (This name came from Bidpai < Vidya-pati) Böri (talk) 09:39, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

minor error

[edit]

in the introductory sentence, "an Indian scholar and author who have written" (which I wasn't able to edit), should read "an Indian scholar and author who wrote..." Stjohn1970 (talk) 07:11, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Stjohn1970: Yep, you are correct.  DoneC.Fred (talk) 14:04, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
