Activity against monothelitism?
The description of Adeodatus's potificate seems contradictory: "Adeodatus was active ... in the repression of Monothelitism ...," followed later by, "Adeodatus II did not get involved in political events and disengaged himself from the events at the time surrounding Monothelitism." Is this supposed to be that he was active in the repression before his election, but not afterward? Kelseymh (talk) 05:51, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

Activity against monothelitism?

[edit]

The description of Adeodatus's potificate seems contradictory: "Adeodatus was active ... in the repression of Monothelitism ...," followed later by, "Adeodatus II did not get involved in political events and disengaged himself from the events at the time surrounding Monothelitism." Is this supposed to be that he was active in the repression before his election, but not afterward? Kelseymh (talk) 05:51, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
