:Yes, "drill down" is standard terminology, and no, "accessing the object properties/fields" does NOT mean the same thing. Drilling down through an object implies going through many layers of links/pointers/references/subobjects, whatever they're called, eventually accessing the actual properties/fields/data at the end of the chain of dereferencing. - Yes, "drill down" is standard terminology, and no, "accessing the object properties/fields" does NOT mean the same thing.
