Hey [[User:Adflatuss|Adflatuss]], |
Since our districts were re-drawn in 2020, Auburn has different Assembly, Senate, and House members representing it. The city is still represented by Brian Dahle and Joe Patterson of the 1st Senate and 5th Assembly districts, but is now represented by Roger Niello of the 6th Senate district, is no longer represented by Megan Dahle of the 1st Assembly district, and is now represented by Kevin Kiley of the 3rd House district rather than Doug LaMalfa and Tom McClintock of the 1st and 4th House districts (the 4th was re-drawn westward and is now represented by Mike Thompson). |
If you want to check it out, here's a cool map I found where you can compare the new/old districts: https://statewidedatabase.org/gis/districtscomp.html |
Is it all right if I update it to this (assuming I've done everything correctly)?: |

County Seat
[edit]The introduction currently says "Auburn is a city in the county seat of Place County"; was that supposed to read "a city AND the county seat of"? (I would just correct it but I suppose county seats might work differently there than where I'm from.) GCL (talk) 00:03, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Climate
[edit]Short section has been added about the Köppen climate classification and relation to grape growing + wineries, as this is essentially the reason that there are many wineries in the region. However, I am not sure if this is the appropriate section. The page currently doesn't have dedicated "Culture" or "Economy" sections, which makes the decision of placement ambiguous. --Ms. Anthropic (talk) 22:18, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
