Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to on Winter's law. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add cbignore after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
*Added archive https://web.archive.org/20061009223421/http://www.leidykla.vu.lt/inetleid/baltistic/40_2/straipsniai/str1.pdf to http://www.leidykla.vu.lt/inetleid/baltistic/40_2/straipsniai/str1.pdf

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Accent
Does Winter's law attract the accent from wherever it is in the word? The wording in the first paragraph seems to suggest so, but "rising accent" is not a thing yet in Balto-Slavic, accent and acute are still independent things and not all acute syllables have to be accented. Could someone who knows more about this and/or has sources clarify this point? Rua (mew) 14:27, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

Doubt

[edit]

There is some doubt as to whether Winter's law operated before or after the vowel shift /o/ to /a/. See the talk page of the article on Balto-Slavic.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Winter's law. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add cbignore after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Accent

Does Winter's law attract the accent from wherever it is in the word? The wording in the first paragraph seems to suggest so, but "rising accent" is not a thing yet in Balto-Slavic, accent and acute are still independent things and not all acute syllables have to be accented.
