weird anecdote

"When Yablans was younger he realized he wanted to work in the movie industry by looking in one of the drive in movie theater trash and found pieces of cut out scenes."

I would try putting this into English, but since there's no source for this provided I can't be sure what this story is supposed to say.

Any relation to Frank Yablans?

I'm wondering if Irwin Yablans is any relation to Frank (former head of Paramount, etc).

Both Irwin and Frank Yablans life story starts with the words that they were born to a Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York, which seems a bit of a coincidence
