Inaccurate Usage Figures

[edit]

The passenger numbers are a joke, having used the station every weekday for over 10 years between 1997 and 2007 I know that the station averages far higher than 35 people a day (13000/365). I guess the problem is because of the ticket sales, only a fraction of tickets I have purchased were ever from Ynyswen, despite asking for this conductors in the majority of instances issue to/from Treherbert. I guess this is either because it is easier for them or because it is the same price.

Also many short journeys are not ticketed. Valleys lines conductors are notorious for not bothering to come out of their cab to collect fares and on busier times don't make the length of the train before the passenger alights. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.0.89.166 (talk) 21:27, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
