In 1994 he received the College’s annual [[Grellet C. Simpson Award]] for outstanding teaching, and in 2005 the graduating seniors chose him for the Mary W. Pinschmidt Award as the professor who had the greatest impact on students' lives. He currently serves as Historian of the University, and his book on that subject, published in October of 2008, follows Mary Washington through its first 100 years. |
