The fellow is referred to in Patrick O'Brian's novel The Reverse of the Medal. In my edition, where unfortunately all 20 novels are page numbered consecutively, on page 3663. CharlesKiddell (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:52, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why this title?

Donnchadh Ó Hámsaigh

Where does this bizarre version of the man's name come from, and why is it used here?
