[edit]

German wikinews has reported here that the closter will be closing due to a shortage of monks. German news reports:

  • Schmidt, Berit (2009-09-25). "Benediktinerkloster Weingarten schließt" (in German). mz-web.de Mitteldeutsche Zeitung. dpa. Retrieved 2009-09-25.
  • "Der Nachwuchs fehlt Kloster schließt nach 953 Jahren" (in German). n-tv. dpa. 2009-09-25. Retrieved 2009-09-25.
