Is Bonnie Nettles actually notable on her own? As far as I can tell there's nothing in this article that isn't covered in either Marshall Applewhite's article or the Heaven's Gate one (except her DOB). My reading of [[WP:BIO#Invalid_criteria|WP:BIO]] is that this article should be merged to one of the above. Yes Bonnie Nettles is notable, there is an interesting back story to how Heaven's Gate changed after she died and how Applewhite at first regected a leadership role in the organisation after her passing.

== Date of Death ==

Does anybody know where the date of January 20th, 1985 for Bonnie Nettles's death came from? I have audio recordings that the group made in the eighties, and one of them is dated 2/23/1985, which is after the date of her death. According to the "Eyes on Glory" article in the New York Times which is in the second footnote, she died in the summer of 1985.
