I need help. What's 小川幹弘 romanized? (Okawa something?)

Wikipedia rule about Kabuki actors name order ?
The name
In the introductory paragraph there is this quote:

The quote has no sense since it is associated with the civil name and not the artist name, also the actor himself uses the western ordering when writing his name. I'm therefore updating text to write the actor name in the western order and let the usual Japanese names ordering show with the translation of the name written in Japanese.
Shouldn't we move the article to Shidō Nakamura (currently a redirect here) because that's its real name? Cristan 00:10, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Of course if this "ordering rule" for Kabuki actors is really something (where?) that's what we should use as a reference. I would challenge it given the behavior of the actor themselves on the ground of readability and consistency. Slb 13:20, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

::You simply made a cut and paste move and then blanked the page into a redirect, this is not permitted on Wikipedia. Your rationale is also incorrect, as the stage names of all kabuki actors must follow the Japanese name order per WP:MOS-JP; please read the manual of style before making contradictory moves. ···<font color="olive">巌流</font>? · <small><font color="teal">talk to ganryuu</font> </small> 00:48, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia rule about Kabuki actors name order ?

[edit]

In the introductory paragraph there is this quote: [1]

The quote has no sense since it is associated with the civil name and not the artist name, also the actor himself uses the western ordering when writing his name[2]. I'm therefore updating text to write the actor name in the western order and let the usual Japanese names ordering show with the translation of the name written in Japanese.

Of course if this "ordering rule" for Kabuki actors is really something (where?) that's what we should use as a reference. I would challenge it given the behavior of the actor themselves on the ground of readability and consistency. Slb 13:20, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
